RPF SportHorses would like to introduce Our 2024 Lesson Horse Line Up.
Sheldon is a 15-year-old, 18 hand, Dutch Harness Horse. Sheldon was a Novice/Beginner Novice winning eventer who now enjoys learning dressage. Sheldon is showing and winning at Second Level and schooling Third. Sheldon was owned and loved by our friend Christy Gavin, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2021. Sheldon reminds us daily of Christy's kindness and tenacious spirit.
Pearl is a 14-year-old, 16.3 hand, Spotted Draft Shire cross mare. Pearl is winning at Beginner Novice and First Level while schooling Second Level. Pearl also won the Maiden Division Horse of the Year for NCDCTA in 2021. Pearl is generously shared by her owners Sherry and Tony Smith.
Reagen is a 19-year-old, 15.2 hand, Friesian mare. Reagen is a 10 time National and World Champion with IFSHA in Saddle Seat, Halter, Dressage Suitability, and Show Hack. Reagen is also a Second Level dressage horse. Reagen is owned, loved, and shared by Courtney Bauer.
Fools Golde is a 21-year-old, 15.1 hand, Arabian gelding. Golde has several year end of awards for NCDCTA and EDCTSA. Along with AHA Regional Champion and Reserves. Golde is generously shared and loved by his owner Rebecca White.
Geronimo is a 20 year old paint owned by Mary and Sophia Metcalf and leased by Izzy Merchant. Geronimo has shown through third level at USDF rated shows as well as Novice eventing and was a successful USPC horse. Geronimo was NCDCTA Horse of the Year with Izzy in Intro Dressage and Intro Western Dressage. They plan on competing this year in Training Level as well as GAG eventing.
